Double disc Grinding

Double disc grinding is an effective grinding method that reduces pre-machining costs and provides dimensional tolerances to ±.0002″, as well as flatness and parallelism to .0002″,. Our Double disc grinders work both sides of a workpiece simultaneously grinding two sides of a blank In one operation. With equal amounts of material being removed from both sides makes this a very cost-effective grinding option.

Our equipment will handle most sizes and types of material. We are an great source for large production orders and can handle volumes up to 30k.

Blanchard Grinding

Blanchard grinding, or rotary surface grinding, removes large amounts of stock Quickly from one side of a part, typically a part too large to be double disc ground. Parts as large as 42”  can be Blanchard ground on our largest machine. Dimensional tolerances to ±.001″, parallelism & Flatness to .001″are achievable on all our Rotary grinders. 

Surface Grinding

Reciprocating Mattison Grinding is most often the final operation on parts. surface grinding is not a high stock removal machine, is much more versatile and can achieve tolerances within tenths of thousandths and surface finishes finer than the Blanchard grinder can produce.

With our 14" x 48" Mattison Grinder - Horizontal Spindle Surface Grinder we grind hardened and unhardened parts to finish dimensions, an assortment of  sizes and materials and hold tolerances within .0002-.0005. The surface grinder is ideal for blade sharpening, and all types of machined parts that require precision tolerances. We produce surface ground parts to incredibly close tolerances near .0002, and our production grinders along with our experienced operators allow us to grind these surfaces for you quickly and efficiently.
